Whether it’s to network, make new friends or find someone to support you through parenthood, we’re here and we want to help. Reconnect with Kappa by joining your local alumnae association today.

When we joined Kappa Kappa Gamma in college, we became Kappas forever. And Kappa is definitely a lifetime experience. As undergraduates, we had to worry about our class schedules, campus parties, wearing our letters, and receiving our pins. But as alumna members, we look at supporting each other through the different stages of our lives, professional networking, helping younger members make new connections, and working to balance family, friends, career, and volunteer work.

The truth of it is, whether we’re talking about being an undergraduate or an alumnae member, we can still adhere to Kappa’s ideals of Friendship, Leadership, Life-long Learning, and Service to Others. We know what it’s like to be part of a sisterhood…and Kappa sisterhood is very special!

Help us keep the Kappa spirit moving through our lives and strengthen our sisterhood through membership in the St. Louis Alumnae Association.

Our alumnae association works hard to keep Kappa connections alive. Annual alumna dues allow the association to provide these many avenues for involvement and support.

• Programming and interest groups that appeal to Kappas of all ages.
• Ongoing communications to Kappas on a variety of platforms, including monthly e-Newsletters, an annual fall newsletter, website, Facebook and LinkedIn pages, and electronic invitations.
• Covering the cost of your Kappa per capita fee, which helps keep the Fraternity strong in countless ways.
• Hosting events and hands-on volunteer opportunities that support our philanthropic efforts both locally and nationally.
  • Annual signature fundraising event to support several local non-profits and the KKG Foundation.
  • Kappa Days of Service at local non-profit organizations.
• Facilitating educational, networking, and social activities for our membership.
• Honoring our rich heritage through the annual celebration of Founders Day and recognizing Kappas who have reached a 10-, 25-, 50-, 65-, or 75-year membership milestone anniversary.
• Providing leadership and financial support to active chapters in the bi-state area.
• Providing leadership opportunities within the alumnae association, chapter advisory board, and house board.
• Enabling us to be members of the St. Louis Panhellenic Alumnae Association and support its scholarship program.

Dues are quite affordable. Our newest members (initiated in Fall 2015 or later) and our most revered members (initiated before 1958) pay just $40. The rest of us have a choice between $65, $95 and $150. The Sapphire level of $150 has the strongest impact on the association because the highest percentage of the money stays right here in the St. Louis Alumnae Association.

When you pay your dues to the St. Louis Alumnae Association, we automatically pay your per capita fee to Kappa Headquarters. The per capita fee is $28 for youngest and oldest members, and $38 for everyone else. This fee helps keep our Fraternity strong in countless ways. It’s used to support active chapters, provide educational opportunities for collegians and alumnae, publish The Key magazine, and provide maintenance of Fraternity Headquarters and museum. The rest of your dues help the association cover the expenses mentioned above.
