SUPPORTING OUR CHAPTERS IS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS ABOUT BEING A ST. LOUIS KAPPA!

The St. Louis Alumnae Association is dedicated to serving all of the area’s collegiate chapters: Gamma Iota Chapter at Washington University here in St. Louis, Theta Chapter at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Zeta Zeta Chapter at Westminster College in Fulton, and Theta Alpha Chapter at Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville. Although we provide financial support to all four chapters, our association primarily interacts with the young women of Gamma Iota and Theta Alpha. Working with our collegiate sisters has traditionally been one of the most enjoyable aspects of membership in our association. In addition to our Chapter Support Chairman, who serves as a liaison between our chapters and our association, many of our members serve on the Theta Alpha Advisory Board and Gamma Iota Advisory Board and House Board, which keeps our organization abreast of the activities, needs and achievements of our local chapter.

Each fall, St. Louis alumnae enjoy celebrating Founders Day with our Kappa sisters at Theta Alpha and Gamma Iota. This special event is the perfect opportunity for collegiate members and alumnae to better get to know one another and celebrate our bond of sisterhood that transcends our generational differences. Along with Founders Day, St. Louis Kappas look forward to a number of traditional and ongoing activities with Theta Alpha and Gamma Iota during the academic year, such as providing baked treats for finals week and celebrating the seniors as they enter the next phase of our sisterhood as alumnae. We also participate in recruitment and initiation activities each year.
