As you know, the St. Louis Alumnae Association’s local philanthropy is NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) St. Louis and NAMI Southwestern Illinois. The NAMIWalks St. Louis event on May 10, 2025 is our turnkey service and support activity again this year.

Join our team, the Kruising Kappas on May 10 at Creve Coeur Park, to raise funds that will support NAMI’s free mental health programs and promote public awareness of mental health. Our team's initial fundraising goal is $3,000 and we would love to raise our goal even higher. With your help, we know that we Kappas, together with our networks, can do this!

Show your support of our mental health advocacy and community partnerships with our brand new t-shirt design! They are printed on cotton Comfort Colors t-shirts by a local St. Louis small business. Perfect to wear to the NAMIWalk on May 10th as a member of our Kruising Kappas team, or just as a comfy shirt around town! $8 of each collegiate purchase and $13 of each alumnae purchase will be donated to our local NAMI chapter in St. Louis. Purchases can be made until April 11th.

NAMI is the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness. NAMIWalks promotes awareness of mental health, raises funds for NAMI’s free, top-rated programs, and builds community by letting people know they are not alone.

9:30 am - 9:40 am: Welcome from Emcee, TBA

9:40 am: Winner of Team T-Shirt Design announced
9:55 am - 10:00 am: TBA Warm-up at the Start/Finish line
10:00 am: 21st Annual NAMIWalks Your Way St. Louis will begin

KAPPA GATHERING AT Six Mile Bridge Brewery
Join us for a Kappa Gathering on May 10, 2025 to celebrate our accomplishments of the Kruising Kappas team at NAMIWalks St Louis! 

Following the conclusion of the NAMIWalks St Louis at Creve Coeur Park (about 1:00 PM) we will be heading to Six Mile Bridge Brewery, 11841 Dorsett Road, Maryland Heights 63043.

Even if you can’t walk, join us for some social time. Significant others are welcome to join. We look forward to seeing you there!
